Please read these Terms of Sale carefully before placing your order. By purchasing from our website, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Seller Identification

All products sold on this website are supplied and fulfilled by Safer Optics Sdn Bhd (Company No. 0886208H), a licensed optical provider operating in compliance with Malaysian regulations, including professional optical practice standards set by Majlis Optik Malaysia (MOC).

2. Prescription Products

Prescription lens services are available through our licensed optical retail outlet, where they are dispensed in accordance with professional standards and regulatory compliance.

Certain products, including prescription lenses and contact lenses, are classified as medical devices under Malaysian law. To comply with the Medical Device Act 2012 (Act 737):

A valid prescription issued by a licensed eye care professional is required for the purchase of all prescription lenses.
You may be asked to upload or submit your prescription at the time of purchase.
Orders without valid prescription information may be declined, delayed, or cancelled

3. Non-Prescription Products (Plano Lenses, Blue Light Glasses, Sunglasses)

For non-prescription eyewear products, including but not limited to:

Plano (zero power) blue light blocking glasses,
Children's blue light glasses,
Sunglasses

the following conditions apply:

Products are sold as-is based on the specifications and designs listed on our website.
Customers are responsible for reviewing product descriptions, sizing guides, and specifications prior to purchase.
Minor color variations may occur due to screen displays or lighting differences. Actual product colours may vary from those displayed on your screen and are not considered as defects.
Size guides and age ranges are provided as approximate references only. We do not guarantee a perfect fit based solely on age or listed measurements.

By placing an order with us, you acknowledge and agree to these considerations.

4. Order Acceptance

Placing an order on our website does not constitute a binding contract until your order has been reviewed and accepted by us. We reserve the right to:

Decline or cancel any order if the prescription provided is invalid, incomplete, expired, or does not meet dispensing guidelines.
Contact you for clarification or verification regarding your prescription if necessary.
Decline or cancel any order if product availability or other conditions prevent fulfillment.

5. Delivery

We strive to process and ship your orders as quickly as possible. Please note:

Delivery timelines provided are estimates only and may be affected by courier operations or unforeseen circumstances.
Safer Optics is not liable for courier delays once the package has been handed over for delivery.

6. Returns and Exchanges

Prescription products are custom-made to your individual specifications and are therefore non-returnable and non-refundable, except in cases of verified manufacturing defects or fulfillment errors.
Non-prescription products may be eligible for return or exchange subject to our Return Policy, provided they are unused, undamaged, and returned within the specified timeframe.
Products are covered under standard manufacturing warranty for visible defects but are not eligible for return or refund for change of mind or sizing errors.

For any issues regarding defective items, customers must contact our support team within 7 days of receipt, with accompanying photos and order details for review.

7. Compliance Disclaimer

All optical products sold by Safer Optics Sdn Bhd are dispensed in accordance with:

The Medical Device Act 2012 (Act 737), and
Guidelines issued by the Malaysian Optical Council (MOC).

Products are intended solely for the correction of vision based on verified prescriptions. Non-prescription eyewear (blue light glasses, sunglasses) is intended for general lifestyle use, UV protection and visual comfort.

8. Limitation of Liability

While we take utmost care in dispensing and delivering your optical products, Safer Optics Sdn Bhd shall not be liable for:

Inaccurate prescription information submitted by the customer (for prescription products),
Colour discrepancies between online displays and actual products,
Misinterpretation of product descriptions or sizing,
Sizing or fitting dissatisfaction based on general size or age guides,
Incidental, indirect, or consequential damages resulting from use or inability to use our products.
